I have one of these computers for two years of ownership. As a student and who works on average 17 hours a day to emphasize, this machine is incredible.
It 'absolutely reliable, even after two years, does not feel slow at all. The computer looks great, great game, and constantly updated and enthusiastic fans really sure that every aspect of your big computer.
Before purchasing this computer, I had two major concernsCost and compatibility.
It 'true that the MacBook Air is not for everyone, this is the best computer I've heard. Mine is the SSD version, and this is my work computer that is used for Web development, occasional graphics work in Creative Suite and accounting with QuickBooks for Windows via Parallels.
After reading all the discussions about the relative performance against more powerful machines, and complaints about the lack of ports and other "features", I discovered that the actual daily ease of useis incredible. And 'quiet and extremely portable, the screen is fantastic, the trackpad is very responsive, waking from sleep is instantaneous and the speed for regular work with different applications is very fast.
