I bought this laptop to desktop PC, which is old and slow to change. The new laptop is nice and much faster than the old one.
Pros: The keyboard has a nice smooth surface, and still is, the PC will start relatively quickly.
Cons: glossy display inside and out, fingerprints and smudges, and it is difficult to maintain Nice.

Battery life is notwhat I expected, it will realistically 2-1/2 to 3 hours battery Max I was expecting closer to 4 hours, but not that kind of life.

Oooh man, took him to the keeper, was sold out before Tiger Direct. Nice screen, a beautiful burgundy color. Elegant small band of metal from top to bottom here. easy to use, manage complex programs in the cool of the budget. I think Tiger Direct a few left. My only complaint is why Vista? Why? Why Gateway, why hast thou forsaken me? Clearly, 64-bit, but Vista sucks. XP all the way home. btw, you can upgrade from Windows XP, but it takes a little 'to find the correct drivers fors running XP without problems.
